When the factory of liquor Poblete was inaugurated in 1918, people of Lima of that epoch celebrated with satisfaction the appearance of a variety of national wine whose quality and excellent taste competed with the best imported wines. After some time, different awards and honorable mentions obtained in national and abroad expositions, as the medal of gold of the "Esposizione Campionaria di Roma" in 1927 and the highest distinction in the fair of October 1949, confirmed its quality,  encouraging new investments and improvements in the organization, until occupy a principal place in the preferences of the customer.
